Amber Illig is the General Partner at The Council Fund, where she invests in B2B software companies focused on essential industries such as manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, construction, and healthcare. Her experience in operations leadership at companies like Eli Lilly, Apple, Snap, and Cruise sparked her passion for angel investing. As a founding member of The Council Angels, a community of 200+ tech operators, Amber successfully made 30 personal angel investments, which paved the way for her to raise Fund I. With her extensive background as both an operator and an investor, Amber is dedicated to helping tech operators navigate their own paths into angel investing.

Rachel Tsui is a Partner at The Council leading healthcare investments. Previously, Rachel built and led Customer Success at Komodo Health from Series B to Series F. She started her career as a scientist, and moved into the the start up ecosystem after building experience in life sciences and health tech consulting. Rachel began angel investing and fund investing while at Komodo, and eventually worked with Amber as a Venture Partner before joining full time.
