Course overview

Transform the way you communicate your insights to stakeholders.

In this course I share everything I've learned about how to write with impact that I've learned in a 10+ year career that spanned management consulting, big tech and founding my own UX research agency. I created this course because I believe that good ideas need good communication to thrive. Writing is an essential skill for anyone who works in any organisation from the smallest agile startup all the way through to the biggest publicly listed corporate organization.

Being able to align stakeholders around your ideas, your vision, your insights, and your recommendations is an absolutely critical skill for anyone who works with customer insights. I believe that this is a skill that can be taught and can be improved. Many of us go for long stretches in our career, focusing on other more technical skills. But writing is a critical, foundational skill that can and will increase your influence inside and outside your organization.

This course has been absolutely transformative for my approach to UX research. Ruby's teaching brought such clarity to how I structure and communicate my insights that when I look back at my previous research work, it feels like it was written by a different person entirely - like looking back at something from an eternity ago. The way Ruby breaks down the process of creating meaningful, stakeholder-ready insights is brilliant and immediately applicable. What I appreciate most is how the course doesn't just teach theory - it fundamentally changes how you think about the role of UX research in the product development process. My only wish is that the course could be longer! There's clearly so much more wisdom Ruby has to share, and I found myself wanting to dive deeper into advanced techniques and case studies. The content is so valuable that I would have happily spent more time learning from her expertise. If you're a UX researcher looking to elevate the impact and clarity of your work, this course is essential. Ruby has created something special here that will change how you approach research forever. Highly recommended for: UX researchers, product researchers, anyone looking to improve their insight communication and research impact.
