Why this topic matters

Most PMOs produce reports, but leadership needs insight. When PMO professionals can interpret portfolio signals financial variance, delivery risk, and governance gaps they become trusted advisors rather than administrators. This course helps early-career PMO professionals build the judgement and communication skills needed to influence delivery outcomes.

PMO Professional

I’m a PMO leader with over 21 years of experience delivering complex programs across banking, telecommunications, superannuation, not-for-profit, and government sectors. Throughout my career I’ve worked across both consulting and internal leadership roles, helping organisations establish PMOs, strengthen governance, and improve portfolio delivery outcomes.

I’ve led multi-million-dollar programs, built and coached PMO teams, and supported senior executives to understand delivery risk and make better portfolio decisions. Much of my work has focused on helping PMOs move beyond administration and reporting to become value-adding functions that provide real delivery insight.

This course is based on the practical lessons I’ve learned from working inside delivery teams, supporting executives, and mentoring early-career PMO professionals who want to grow from coordination roles into trusted advisors.
