CEO of Collaborate Consulting, Brene Brown Dare to Lead Certified Facilitator

After years of investing in leadership programs and certifications, I discovered Brene Brown’s work and was immediately struck by how much data there was behind her principles. The tools she’s developed have been used by Army SEALs, the CIA, and hundreds of nonprofits and government agencies around the world. They push past old “top-down” ways of leading and center whole-hearted, vulnerable leadership models as the most effective and necessary for this exact moment in our nation’s history.

As soon as I could, I became a Dare to Lead certified facilitator, and I’ve been bringing the 11 elements of Daring Leadership to workplaces ever since! I’ve worked with clients as diverse as Maybelline, Dropbox, Advanced Micro Devices, Cambridge Associates, and Harry’s.

I am also a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, an evidence-based assessment tool that measures individual and team effectiveness at working across lines of difference. I bring this intercultural lens to everything I do, including my work with the Dare to Lead tools.

My educational background is in theatre, which means I bring a high-energy,  interactive style to all of my work. Learners regularly describe my sessions as “the most engaging online workshops” they’ve ever attended.
