Master Data Science Career Skills for Senior DS Professionals

People always say Career Growth is not linear and everyone will encounter their plateau and challenges at some point. If you've worked as a data scientist at a similar-sized company for several years, or if your career has plateaued without a clear progression path, it might be time to reevaluate your career path. If you feel stuck and uncertain about your next steps, you may have many questions about what and how to change. This course aims to answer some of the fundamental questions that senior data science professionals often face at career crossroads: Skills Relevance and Development🤨 Are my skills still relevant at a company of a different size?🤨 What skills are most essential for me to develop in order to transition to a company of different sizes? Career Navigation and Growth🤨 How can I best navigate my career trajectory in my current company if I don't see a near-term promotion?🤨 When I want to transition to a manager position at my current company, how might the preparation differ between big tech and a startup? Relationship Management🤨 How do I best manage the relationship with my stakeholders and my reports?🤨 How do I coach and grow my reports better? Interview Preparation and Offer Evaluation🤨 How can I effectively prepare for interviews and showcase my skills and experiences for an interview at a startup vs big tech?🤨 How should I evaluate offers from companies of different sizes? In this course, you will get all these questions above answered and learn how to evaluate whether to join a large tech company or a small startup based on your unique circumstances. Additionally, you will learn effective strategies for choosing a company, excelling in interviews, and positioning yourself for success in your new role. I will teach five sessions on Saturday (April 27th) from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm PT, with live workshops to assess your current career path and develop a solid career plan. I will also host personalized Q&amp;As after each class to answer any questions you might have about your data science career. I will host monthly office hours for three months after the course ends to continue assisting you on your data science career development journey, ensuring that the framework/advice you are going to learn from this course is applied properly and addressing any issues you might encounter by applying these frameworks.
