More About Me

For over 20 years I've been obsessed with a wicked problem.

Millions of people designed learning experiences in the last decade, but there’s a problem: learning design is broken.

As the number of learning experiences out in the world proliferates, research shows that only ~3% are optimised for learner motivation, mastery & impact.

Why?

Because learning science (i.e. the science of how humans learn) is complex, expensive to access, time consuming to apply and ever changing.
Because the tools we have to designing & delivering evidence-based learning are slow and painful.

To help solve this problem, I've spent 20+ years researching if and how learning science powered by technology (incl. AI) can help to increase both the efficiency and the effectiveness (i.e. impact) of learning design processes.
