Fifteen years ago, my brain hit a wall!
I was working in a high-stress environment while caring for my terminally ill mother. My nervous system was in overdrive, my sleep was terrible, and I couldn't focus on even the simplest tasks! Like most folks, I kept going, thinking everything would be okay, but obviously, nothing could be further from the truth, and one day, I just fell off a cliff, burnt out - spiralling into depression.
Yoga Nidra was one of the non-sleep deep rest practices that helped me rebuild myself. It completely transformed my energy levels and helped me work my way through to the other side.
Now, I'm on a mission to redefine what it means to be successful in today’s world and empower fellow professionals to rebel against the cult of busyness through the transformative power of deep rest and intentional energy management practices.
