Germán León is an AI product founder, designer, and educator. He holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from Umeå University in Sweden and specialized training in AI design from MIT.

He founded and sold Gestoos, a Forbes featured AI startup focused on computer vision and human technology interaction, acquired by Preact. Gestoos pioneered privacy-first AI systems that enabled spaces and objects to understand human behavior through applied machine learning.

Before Gestoos, Germán was the Managing Director at Oblong Europe and the Lead Designer at Vodafone Group, shaping mobile and internet strategy. He currently teaches artificial intelligence and product design at Elisava and advises startups building real-world AI products.
